September 10, 2024

Tayler Ulbrich, the Associate Director for Stakeholder Engagement at the Kellogg Biological Station (KBS) Long-Term Agroecosystem Research (LTAR) site, has been recognized for her significant leadership within the national LTAR network. She joined the KBS LTAR team in January 2021 and quickly made her mark, co-founding and leading the national stakeholder engagement working group. Her contributions earned her the Early Career Scientist of the Year award at the National LTAR Network’s All-Scientist Meeting in 2022. Tayler’s work has been instrumental in advancing stakeholder engagement, with her colleagues praising her efforts to organize the national stakeholder engagement effort, a crucial aspect for the success of the LTAR network.

While the article does not mention him directly, Tayler’s husband, Basso Lab member Ruben Ulbrich, appears alongside her in the featured photo. The couple shares a professional dedication to advancing agricultural research, though they work in different yet complementary fields. Tayler’s expertise in stakeholder engagement and Ruben’s work in the Basso Lab both contribute to the broader goals of improving agricultural practices and sustainability.
